Meditation
This page is to talk about meditation and the different types of meditation. It is estimated that there is around 5000 different types/practises of meditation, we will cover some of the most common that surrounds the practise of Kundalini.
We will also talk about different types/practises of meditation that are commonly use in other styles of yoga.

Sat Nam Meditation
This is the most common practise of meditation in Kundalini yoga. It is commonly used in many Kundalini Kriyas and can be practised several times in one lesson.
Sitting in crossed legged seated position (Easy Pose) Press down through the sitting bones and grow tall through the crow of the head. close the eyes and draw your gaze up to the third eye (Ajna Chakra) in Shambhavi Mudra.
Simply relax the body and mind and inhale SAT and exhale NAM, don't it say it out loud, say it mentally to ones self.
The use of Shambhavi Mudra is optional, if used then it should be practised for the maximum time of 21 minutes. If not used you can practise this Meditation for as long as is comfortable.
